NYE 2012

I just got back from a bike ride to grocery store, lugging 2 bottles of Andre Champagne in my basket. I found party poppers and noise makers! I can't wait to dance the night away covered in glittered and glam! Happy NYE all! This year I will drink more tea, run as many 5K as possible, spend more time with my boyfriend, take on more freelance work, finish decorating my home and buy less clothing (ya right). I have accomplished so much in 2011. I got my first job out of college. I am in a serious relationship, for the first time in years. I got my first house and began paying all my bills on my own. My main goal for the year is to stop rushing through life. Its not a spring its a marathon. I think this will enhance the level of my work and bring those I love closer. Bring it on 2012!

Rachel Zoe Project

Ok, this show has changed my vocabulary and brought it to another level. Photo on Right: Dying over this neck piece, how fabulous would you feel in this on NYE? Although, you might wake up with a hang over and some neck pain. Rachel's love for fur and cocktail rings are rubbing off on me. It's hilarious how much Rachel and her husband Rodger remind me of my relationship with my boyfriend. He's always scolding me for large clothing purchases. *at-least I know Rachel can relate.

Sassy Cinema

Now that its winter I've had time to catch up a few flicks that are definitely worth your while.
I selected these movies because they are biographies shedding light on these three peoples lives I would never get to know otherwise.
I love love love Audrey Tatou, after watching Amelie I knew I would enjoy Coco before Chanel.
La Vie en Rose is spectacular! If you love Edith Piafs timeless music from Paris, this is the movie for you.
Bill Cunningham New York, a human portrait on a fabulous photographer who has been documented fashion/society for over 30 years for the New York Times. He is a humble man living by a simple motto of capturing great style on the streets.
Don't miss this one, its on Netflix!

Gorgeous Gifts

We all that friend or family member who is hard to shop for. Here are a few of my ideas.
The winter gets boring fast wearing the same black coat everyday. Thats why I love this new jacket from Ruche.
They have a wonderful winter lookbook, you must go check it out! I am always in need a versatile simple black clutch, I think I've found the perfect one at Top Shop. I am a huge fan of Ban.do accessories. I have been meaning to buy something from there online shop for months. I caved and bought this rad sequins scarf. I like to knot it and throw around my neck to spice up any mediocre outfit. Lastlyyyy, this beautiful Orla Kiely town bag. This British designer is always blowing me away with new items from her retro inspired line.

Let the curtain fall

I love the pattern and shape shown in the dress and painting. I don't know what to call it, but it does remind me of those red draping show curtains. Any who I just finished this painting and wanted to show it to you all! This is a fun size canvas to get if you have a small wall space to fill. If you'd like to purchase this dress click here.
